Strategic Partnership Alliance

The Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Angola, in partnership with the Angolan Business Agency, carried out a business mission to the Kingdom of the Netherlands between the 12th and 14th of September 2023.

The aforementioned mission was attended by national producers (tropical fruit, horticulture, temperature-controlled goods logistics operators) and aimed to provide Angolan companies operating in the agribusiness and logistics sectors with opportunities to access the European market and increase exports between Angola and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
During the official mission period, BFA and Rabobank also signed a three-year memorandum of understanding aimed at boosting the development of the Agribusiness sector in Angola and making it more resilient to climate change.

The BFA delegation was led by the Executive Directors, Dr. Sebastião Massango and Dr. Paulo Silva, and represented by a team of 4 staff members and one corporate client.

BFA's primary goal is to become Angola's Agri-Food / Agribusiness Bank.

This strategic alliance will enable BFA to benefit from Rabobank's support, know-how and wealth of experience towards the achievement of this goal.
