Exemption from submission of documents

Pursuant to Circular No. 001/CE-P/2020, of the National Bank of Angola, BFA informs that the request for the Customer's Identity Card is no longer mandatory for payments in TPA of an amount equal to or greater than 200,000 KZ (Two hundred thousand kwanzas).

In this sense, traders cannot, on the basis of the old directive, make copies of their customers' identification documents. In case of doubt or suspicion, they must require the identification of the cardholder, just for verification/validation.
