The Commercial Agriculture Development Project (PDAC) aims to increase productivity and access to markets, enabling selected beneficiaries (micro, small and medium farmers), to strengthen production and commercialization, develop infrastructure, strengthen institutions and improve the business environment and project management
In line with the Executive's plan, in the implementation of initiatives that aim to foster the financing of the agricultural sector to increase national production, BFA signed a partnership with the Commercial Agriculture Support Project, becoming one of the commercial Banks approved by the World Bank to co-participate in the financing of the projects of the beneficiaries of the PDAC Program.
Purpose
Catalyze the potential of agriculture and agribusiness by supporting eligible entrepreneurs and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the project areas in adopting better technologies, improving skills, accessing financial markets, and processing and marketing production.
Fundable Items
MPMES investment projects operating in the value chains of corn, beans, soybeans, coffee, eggs and chicken, covering two "road corridors" comprising the following provinces:
Corridor A) Luanda-Bengo-Cuanza Norte-Malanje
Corridor B) Cuanza Sul-Huambo-Bié-Norte de Huíla.
In the first phase of the project the following provinces will be prioritized:
Corridor A) Kwanza Norte and Malanje
Corridor B) Kwanza Sul
